How many messages does you have on TB!

Wich version of BayesIt are you using?
On 0.4gm I remember the boot up of bayesIT was improved using a cache.

I think you should select Maximum on the Spam tab.

The problem for create a white list it's doesn't exist a priority of
spam plugins.

Example of a message.

White List Spam Plugin = 0 (it's on the white list)
Bayesit = 96 (it's like a spam)

Maximum = 96
Minimum = 0
Average = 48

You should select Minimum on this case for work or Average with a > 50
points for delete/move to spam folder.

This will be ok for a bayesit + whitelist. But if you add a blaclist
plugin create the rules for a correct detection should be difficult to
do.

TBP_GetSpamScore could return <0 or >100 ?

2003-10-18 Thread NetVicious
Hi!

I want to make a plugin for white/black list of senders.

It will be running with Bayesit, so I want to know if TBP_GetSpamScore
could return diferent values of 0-100 points.

White List Example:

 bayesit punctuation = 80
 my plug = -1000

 Average = -920 -> Message not MARKED as SPAM

Black List Example:

 bayesit punctuation = 10
 my plug = 1000

 Average = 1010 -> Message MARKED as SPAM

Your problem it's a little "bug" (if it could be called as bug) of the
selective-download.

If you want to download this letters you could use "Dispatch All mail
on server" option and removing the delete checkbox on those letters.
You could select all of those messages and use the menus to uncheck
all using less clicks.

need to edit manually the files.

If someone wants to send one rules file it will need to zip it and

miniRelay doesn't have any spam control (talking about The Bat!). It

Hello tracer,

NetPlug.TBP  - The Bat! anti-spam plugin
NetPlugGui.exe   - GUI for adding/removing/modifiying rules
sender.rls - rules for mail senders
subject.rls - rules for mail subjects

The Bat! anti-spam plugins works returning one number for every mail
message it processes.

The Bat! has two possible configurations for this number:

- If number it's major than x the mail will be deleted directly
- If number it's major than x the mail will be moved to Junk Mail
folder (if it doesn't exists it will be created).

My plugin now search rules on sender and subject of every mail you
receives on The Bat!. You could configure the points you give to the
mails that rises one filter. You could add points or remove points.

Hello Luc,

Well, looking on the headers on all of the mails of the list I see
that any archive exists.

Are you looking for this ?
http://netvicious.iespana.es/netvicious/NetPlug/NetPlug_beta0_2.zip
;-)

Unzip it on your The Bat! folder
I also suggest you to update to Beta5

Hello DG,

Your guess it's wrong ;-)

I couldn't debug the plugin step by step on Delphi IDE, so if i want
to depure it I need to use log files.

I forgot to remove this debug code on 0.2.000 version, sorry ;-)

Yes, there isn't any place of setting this folder, I think it could be
a good thing use only one global folder for junk mail.

The name of the folder could be renamed to other modifying the lng
files of The Bat!, I'm one of the translators of The Bat! to the
spanish language (the translation in The Bat! it's not good and it's
not complete), and it's easy to change it with some tools, but we need
to wait for the 1.62 or 1.63 international pack to make these changes.

Re: Documentation and Info Request

2003-01-22 Thread NetVicious
I don't see nothing in the source code example about junk folder.

The plugin gets information from the mail and returns a number, if
this number it's major than one of the two posible configurations on
the plugin the mail will be moved to the Junk Mail folder.

This folder doesn't appear by default, it's created when it's detected
a junk mail.

The plugin search this file. In this file there are the rules to
detect spam messages on the subject.

On the zip you downloaded you have subject.rls, copy it to your The
Bat! folder.

NetPlug 0.10.00

2003-01-18 Thread NetVicious
Hi!

First sorry for me not perfect english.

I will present me first.

-- START PRESENTATION --

I'm a spanish programmer, I'm one of the moderators of the Spanish
Group of Users of The Bat! (GDUTB) http://www.gdutb.org

I have maked some programs, the last one it's a very easy SMTP Relay
Server for send mails without needing our ISP smtp server

ScreenShot (text in spanish)
http://netvicious.iespana.es/netvicious/miniRelay/miniRelay.gif

Download
http://netvicious.iespana.es/netvicious/miniRelay/miniRelay.zip

The program it's also in english.

-- END PRESENTATION --

Well, I have saw the announcement of The Bat! Anti-Spam plugins and I
have investigated a little ;-)

Here it's my first version of my plugin
http://netvicious.iespana.es/netvicious/NetPlug/NetPlug_beta0_1.zip

It's needs only to be unzipped into The Bat! directory and added on
the options.

Now only checks for subject. The rules could be added into subject.rls
file with this format:

Note: the separator it's „Å characters

1„ÅENLARGE YOUR PENIS„Å0„Å80

1 -> Search mode
ENLARGE YOUR PENIS -> Texto to search
0 -> use chars case
80 -> points added to rank if the text it's found

Search Mode
---
1.- Contains the text
2.- Contains the text as a word (delimited with some characteres
(spaces, ", ', :, .)
3.- Subject = text (exactly)
4.- Subject starts with the text
5.- Subject ends with the text
6.- Subject it's blank
7.- All the Subject it's in UpperCase

Chars Case
--

0.- Hello = HELLO
1.- Hello <> HELLO

I will add on the next versions a lot of black listed subjects, and
searching on headers, text message, sender, ...

---
One little question for The Bat! developers

I see on The Bat! 1.63 beta 3 that message mpidMessageBody it's not
available yet. Please warn me when this change ;-)

  mpidMessageBody = 11; // decoded message body (not available yet)

I think we need also a little explanation of this funtions

function TBP_GetStatus: Integer; stdcall;
function TBP_NeedConfig: Integer; stdcall;
function TBP_NeedCOM: Integer; stdcall;
function TBP_Setup: Integer; stdcall;

I played a little with they and I don't discover anything.

---

I have tested on all the modes of search, it needs a gui for
adding/removing/modifiying strings.

It needs also accept add negative points to the rank if we don't want
some messages will be marked as spam.

Suggestions will be welcomed ;-)

Byes from spain.
