Look at:

TheBat! | Help | Index | "export email addresses"

Try:

TheBat! | Tools | Address Book

highlight THE address book's name

File | Export to | Comma Separated Plain Text

name the exported file

choose the fields you want to export

Using The Bat! v1.60c
on Windows 95 4.0 Build B

Thank's a lot Roelof! I understand it now.

The best way to get at this information is with the %AbnnnPPP macros.
This is for use in message templates.

I see what you mean, but TB's address book is (at present) only there
to provide data for templates and message address headers. Contact
management is an area of reasonable complexity. To offer such
functionality in TB could either signify bloat or open TB to a new
area of criticism in how lacking such a feature might be until it came
up to the usefulness of a PIM. Then, suddenly, we're all running
Outlook. Okay, that's a pessimistic viewpoint, but I find it hard to
imagine it working myself.

Replace roelof with your accountname, that ought to do it. It works
here.

Batch processing: export - import

2002-04-28 Thread Aza Lsaja

Hi,

Can I do batch processing to export and import email to UNIX
mailbox format? I read help files, and seems to me it's possible
but I can not do it.

If somebody know about it, please give me an example how to export
all emails in Inbox then import it. (using batch process)

Thanks in advance,
Aza
