TB!'s plugin for GnuPG

2002-07-11 Thread Peter Meyns

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hi friends,

it seems, that I have overlooked something when installing the recent GPG.
The Bat!'s plugin works fine for signing or verifying, but not for
encrypting. The following message is displayed:

,- [ ]
| gpg: LoadLibrary failed ec=1157
| gpg: c:/lib/gnupg\C:/GnuPG/Ext/sha2: error loading extension: 1157
| gpg: LoadLibrary failed ec=1157
| gpg: c:/lib/gnupg\C:/GnuPG/Ext/tiger: error loading extension: 1157
| gpg: LoadLibrary failed ec=1157
| gpg: c:/lib/gnupg\C:/GnuPG/Ext/idea: error loading extension: 1157
`-

The according .dll files are present. What does the "extension" thing mean?

Although PGPckt works flawlessly for me, I'd like to have GPG working as
well. ;-)

TB!'s plugin's storing passphrase

2002-07-11 Thread Peter Meyns

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hi all,

there is another item that the plugin doesn't seem to handle right:

It keeps storing the passphrase for signing, although I only entered it
once in an older version, and never set the checkmark to save it. Well, in
a way it's convenient, as no-one else uses this computer. ;-)

Still, I would like to have the *option* to turn it off.

Try this path (for example) in your options file:
C:\GnuPG\Ext\idea

Tiger and Sha2 are precompiled within the GnuPG v1.1.90-nr1 binary.
But it wouldn't work with slashes ;)

I am using the correct template. I've checked a couple of times now.

When I write back to someone in a different time zone, it drops the 'my
local time' section.

When I write to someone in the same timezone, it puts an extra space in
before they're name.

The only other thing I wanted to work on was, if they're in the same
time zone, I wanted it to say in 'our' time zone, rather than in 'your'
time zone.

Apologies for being thick still, but your help is really appreciated and
I think once I've got this sorted, I'll be kept quiet for a bit!?

Thanks,

Chris.

You need to go through your options file and change the forward
slashes in the dll module paths to back slashes.

TB!'s plugin's comment lines

2002-07-11 Thread Peter Meyns

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hi friends,

today I have time for testing GnuPG with The Bat!. :-)

In GPG's options I can enter two comment lines to be displayed with the
signature. The TB! plugin only shows the first, as you can see in my
previous messages of today.

For illustration I'll sign this message with GPG tray.

AFAIK, GnuPG by default, will support only one comment line. With the
use of GPGShell, you can get two comment lines, but not via the
options file.

Hello Chris,

On Thursday, July 11, 2002 at 21:34 GMT +0100, Chris Weaven [CW] heard
voices say:

CW> It only seems to work when I write to you, or it could be the fact
CW> that it's a different date?

I'm not sure. There have been so many changes to your template, I can
no longer make heads or tails of what you have. Can you please post
the parts of your template system which are responsible for including
the "where I am" part.

CW> I am using the correct template. I've checked a couple of times
CW> now.

Ok, then I really don't know the problem. Please include *all* of the
parts of your templates which affect the attribution line.

CW> The only other thing I wanted to work on was, if they're in the same
CW> time zone, I wanted it to say in 'our' time zone, rather than in 'your'

Ok, but that can be done as part of the streamlining of your current
templates.

CW> Apologies for being thick still, but your help is really
CW> appreciated

No problem.

CW> and I think once I've got this sorted, I'll be kept quiet for a
CW> bit!?

Why? Won't you want to use your new template system as much as
possible? ;-)
