I changed the name of the field in the "Add" form to "Submitted by /
author". I realised the downside when I saw someone struggling to
remember if you were the author of a macro and failing to name
themselves as the "submitting authority".

I don't want to add another field for that just now - unless it turns
out that the field name is still too ambiguous. I'll keep an open mind
on it - unless anyone else wants to pressure me otherwise ;-).

installed, or go out your way and install it, where is most unix

Providing IIS is patched all the way up, and you watch the logging
carefully, I'm sure it isn't too bad, but I'd still prefer apache,
safer, more power, smaller footprint etc ;) I work with several
servers running Apache with php, mysql, perl, SSL, and a whole load of
other things built in too.

Most servers will run perl unless you have explicitly not installed
it, or it is a Windows server. There are a lot of perl based functions
included in PHP which is pretty ideal ;) What kind of back end are you
using for this page?
