The editor usually opens on the left (though I've not really paid that
much attention - if I'm editing a message, I really don't care which
side it opens on). The viewer opens on the right.

No, the 9600 Pro has dual monitor support built-in.

In your Account/Sorting Office-Filters/file drop-down-menu, choose
Create a new Filter, while the focus is on Outgoing. Name the filter
(for example) A. Put Recipient (get recipient from the scroll menu)
contains (for example) A. From the Action Tab, choose "Move the
message to a folder" and click the box that says "Add." Choose the
folder you want from the tree that appears. Then click "OK."

Your sent message will then be stored in your folder for "A" and not
in your "Sent" folder.

If I am wrong on this, there are plenty of people reading TBUDL who
will correct me. :)

But, I hope this helps.

Storing sent mails automatically in the correct folder...

2005-02-25 Thread WilWilWil
Hello,

Is there a way to store a new sent mail in the folder you are in...

I explain :

Some template permit you to use a specific template depend of the folder your
are in it. In properties of the folder, you can set filters you want.

And what I want ? Saying TB that if folder A has focus when I create a new
mail, then TB store the sent mail in this same folder instead of default "Sent
Mail" folder.

It would be perfect. If I send a mail to friend named "A" from his folder I've
set, I do not need to move the sent mail to his folder. TB do it for me.

I hope I'm clear, not so easy to write in english for a poor french man ! ;-)

I've been using TB! on dual display monitors for about a year now. I
have no problems whatsoever. The windows remember where they were
when I closed them. The columns don't disappear. I've never had any

I may sound churlish but I don't think I have to look. In general progress on
bugs is a little above zero.

Progress on really useful and popular requests for alterations/amendments to
the UI are at 0 degrees K, i.e: absolute zero.

Don't get me started, I've been keeping an eye on this for some time
now ;-)

I'm a borderline complete linux user and have habitually tried to
avoid MS wherever possible. Sometimes however there's
a) no getting away from what it can offer
b) no getting away from clients who use it

The main reason for my using OL right now is that is syncs so nicely
with my Orange M2000 and its Pocket Informant calendar/contact/task
app.

I'm plugging away with the synce and multisync (opensync) projects on
linux, but in the meantime... back to my question.

I don't feel any need to use the nod32 plug-in, but I don't think the
difference between v2.12.2 and 2.12.3 should really make a difference
with regards to the plug-in.

Since I noticed that my v2.12.2 didn't update itself to v2.12.3 via
the internal update function, I wrote to Eset, and here was their
response (14 February):

=
The current version (2.12.3) came out about a month ago. The only
thing that was changed from 2.12.2 was that a couple of websites had
trouble opening with the default settings. It didn't come as a
component update, but had to be downloaded completely. As this
affected very few people, we didn't mention it to everyone, as we will
be having a major program update within a couple of weeks. As this
will also have to be retrieved by downloading the entire program, we
felt the easiest way not mention the minor update, unless the user was
experiencing the connection problem.

As soon as this next update is available, you'll receive a pop-up
notifying you of it's release.

TB is not dual monitor ready.

You could send them a message automatically. Since they're friends of
yours you'll probably have have them in your address book (AB) or maybe
even in an AB group.
So the only thing you need to do is to create a filter that checks for
an incorrect To: header and whether the sender is in your AB/AB-group.
As action you send a reply that tells the sender of the opriginal
message that the message hasn't been read, since it triggered your
spam filter.
Of course you don't move the message to your junk folder, but to a
semi junk folder, so that you know that messages in that folder are
more impoortant than real junk...

Well, as long as you don't have any common filters and you'd like to
move all filters of an account to make them common then there is a
shortcut, but otherwise you've got to do them one at a time.
To make all filters of an account common, you simply close TB, go to
TB's mail directory and move the account.srb from the account
directory to the mail directory.

BTW When you've upgraded from v2 to v3, you've got to make sure that
you don't have any account.srx file left in your account directory,
because when you're lacking a .srb the .srx (your v1/v2 filters) is
converted to .srb

do You really have plugin nod32.BAV with size 99400 bytes and dated
2.7.2004? There is one old plugin with size 97864, but it doesn't work

Cool. I never even knew that common filter option was there in the

that option.

Now... is there any way to copy and paste a bunch of filters at once
