Hello Robin, But folder templates apply just to the folder they are set for, not for all subfolders of the parent. That means that each time a create a new folder in (for example) the business folder tree, I would have to remember to set the folder templates. If they were an inherited attribute, so that new folders inherited the templates of their parent folder, that would be very different. You can do this if subfolders are VFs, but I don't know if that suits your needs. -- Best regards, Miguel A. I have many hundreds business contacts (some I communicate more often with than others) and over a hundred filters and subfolders. Creating AB entries for each contact would be a lot of additional work. In fact, the AB in my office TB is completely empty. When I want to send a new message, I go into the folder and select an address and use Send new message to this address. If the folder contains several thousand messages (many do), TB's search function is very fast and convenient. Takes me less time than adding each new address to the AB. Gee, I actually wouldn't know how to organise my company email without TB's superior filtering and search functionalities, and across several accounts at that. Even though I have a legal home version of TB (using it here), I bought an additional business version for the office, just because it is worth it and I couldn't do my job without it. -- Cheers, Thomas. Need help for importing unicode UTF-8 characters set in TB3.
Hello, I've found that mails which are not well viewed in TB when they are HTML are those which are encoded in unicode UTF-8. I see in preferences that I can add a set. Someone could help me to find the table UTF-8 (web link or sending me the set by e-mail off-list), in the format of TB (XLT, XLAT ?) and say me how to import it in TB ? Because I had to do some updating of the filters, namely adding addresses to some. Turns out I now had to do that in two places: The Incoming filters in the main/archive account, the Common Read filters used by the other account. The Read filters are deactivated now, and there is only one Common filter in place. This copies each Incoming mail into the Inbox of the main/archive account, marking the copy as read. I have to manually refilter that Inbox now, but nevertheless, this is the best solution solution so far. I need to maintain and update only the Incoming filters in the main account. -- Cheers, Thomas. Ist der Chef da? - Dumme Frage! Wuerden wir dann hier sitzen und Karten spielen? Not the most elegant way because of that potential clash, but it is in practical terms what I want to achieve. Actually, now I think of it that might not result in any clashes. All my mail retrieval is done via Popfile, and since I am using it to do an SSL connection to one of my POP servers, I have to set it not to do concurrent sessions. That will mean that if both accounts try to connect as the same time, they will simply be done serially.
