I see that the 'on the fly' transition still isn't so smooth. However, with a restart, the local Sent folder will now be the one used. If you still see another 'sent' folder, it's the one no longer in use. I can just tell/report what I practise, if that can be of some help to others, namely... I choose a version which is (enough) stable (otherwise "fixing/reporting bugs" might become an endless process and a "merriment for/of millions", while the action/work limps). I must confess and unbosom that I have no much patience/time with/for buggy software, and am rather prone to change it and/or apply some workaround or a specific routine, than to work and spend my time (additionally) on what is actually programer's duty. If someone makes a program with just few -+ irrelevant bugs, or even without them, that's okay for me. But if a program is constantly flooded with those insects which are actually quite relevant, influencing thus its functionality, then I get rid of it, I kick it out and take something I can do my work with. In the case of Komori! it's a "clean" application (no "plugins", no jokes) and as fewer interactions as possible with "outer" programs. Actually, I'm pretty sure the probelm stems from The Bat, and its handling of network connections. Try going through something like a proxy, k9 for examle. I've written about this before: once all of The Bat's traffic is routed through a proxy of some sort (k9 and something homebrew), my connection center issues went away. Things will usually time out properly. If it doesn't, I can at least always delete the task, etc. -- WL Current version is 3.65.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I have arranged my settings so that TB! downloads mail on startup; I've also tried to download, only when I do Ctrl-F2, with many shades in-between (I even purchased the Professional Edition), but all with very relative degrees of success. Logically, I guess, if I stopped trying to access my email for a week, I would be free of the problem for a good seven days... -- Regards, Maurice Using The Bat! 3.65.03 on Windows XP Pro 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.65.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

If CC works properly then it abides to the "Server Timeout", which is usually about 60 seconds (Account | Properties | Transport). If connection is not established within this time, CC simply closes/dismiss this account, for the session. I don't think it is a GMX issue, since they will rather leave a message ("too frequent login, try later" or similar), in "Log Panel", and in no way will block Bian Fu. At least it never happen to me, having few GMX accounts for years, and some of them working quite a lot. Else, as I know, capacity of GMX Mailbox is 1 GB (for free accounts, and for pro ones much more), so a "pause" in checking for mail even of few days should not be a problem. Recently, Roelof Otten squawked : > I don't know how much bandwidth you've got with gmx, not sure it's, as such, bandwidth. That is to say, _when_ I see it fail, as it is now for 1.6 hours according to the CC, it tried to get mail and never seemed to get out of that mode. And that is typically how it fails a first-in-an-hour email-check then fails without making it through. Now, I always press _check mail for all_ and that may be the REAL issue. But I have never just tried, for a month solid, to check as individual ... but will suspect that it would fix the issue indeed. Tell you what. Shortcuts Conflicts and Shortcut Collections
After a bit of a hiatus from the luxuries of The Bat/client-side mail I've come to find a few things changed. While the new interface for editing shortcuts/toolbars/menus is most certainly improved from the way I remember it. I'm having a couple of prolbems with it, however. First, conflicts--is there no way to tell if there are conflicting shortcuts or am I missing something? Also, there are a few items called "Shortcut Collection" -- where I'd expected to find all the shortcuts for the parent container, however this isn't the case--there are shortcuts listed, but by no means all/most of them. how to change settings for all accounts easily
Hello Everyone, was just reading about the issue of how TB forwards emails in mime formatting depending on how it is set up. On checking my accounts I noticed that all accounts had that box ticked. I don't think I did that and think it was by default but that's not the issue of my question. I now changed all my accounts manually to have this unticked.
