Migrate from TB 3.80 desktop to TB 3.80 voyager
Hello, I would like to migrate from TB 3.80 desktop to TB 3.80 voyager (on a basic USB key, or maybe an mobile hdd). Have you got some bad experiences with this mobile version ? Any piece of advice to migrate, is there traps ? Thanks, -- Wil Wil Wil [EMAIL PROTECTED] Current version is 3.80.06 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Mac Mail
Hello, I'm receiving correspondence from a friend who is using Mac Mail. These appear as a set of attachments, much as with HTML messages, but without an html wrapper that I can open. The result is that I have to piece all these together to make any sense of it. These attachments are labelled: Text - contains the first part of the text Part.txt - more text Part..ATT- Looks like the formatted (html?) portion Yes there are two dots. Part#01..ATT - More formatted stuff Etc. Since I can't get over there to see what's going on, can anyone tell me what's happening, or what can be done to fix this at either end? The only negative experience I've had is that my USB stick seems to corrupt one Inbox rather regularly. I don't think this is a Voyager problem, but the files part???.bin created by the Maintenance System can somehow not be imported into the message base. Also, they are in clear text, not encrypted. wtff Any piece of advice to migrate, is there traps ? I didn't actually migrate, I created my most important accounts new and then downloaded the mails on server. However, I think that backup-restore should work fine. -- Cheers, Thomas.
