Voyager : Registry marks !

2006-07-28 Thread wil . tbul
Hello,

I've just install Voyager on my new computer. Nothing to say: migration is OK
and easy...

But on each computer I plug my FlashUsb Key, after lauching Voyager, and leave
it, I can see keys and marks in the registry.

I can't understand why does my voyager work like that, and write in the host
computer registry !!!

Look at this registry export:

The goal is to use it every where without leaving marks , isn't it ?

An other remark is that my CPu more used since using voyager !

Last one: Voyager is well for me and I used it on a auto encrypted key and so, I
don't need to encrypt a second time the mails with TB (maybe the reason of CPU
charge). Can I swich off the encryption ?

Thanks for your remarks.

That's a known issue. Apparently it only leaves speller related marks,

You cannot disable the OTFE,

However, you could get yourself a proper cutsign.

It seems to leave also tracks about LDAP Addresses Book that is a little bit
more annoying...

Sorry, I don't understand you could get yourself a proper cutsign... (I'm
French). Maybe it's about signature ? I actually use WebMail from work and
can't use my Home TB template...

Thanks for your help.

Well, I wouldn't know about that. It's been ages since I used an LDAP AB

WT Sorry, I don't understand you could get yourself a proper cutsign...

The signature delimiter (or cutsign as that is where your signature
gets cut from the message body when quoting) is supposed to be
dash dash space enter on a line by itself.
Your trailing space appears to be missing.

WT I actually use WebMail from work and can't use my Home TB
WT template...

There are lots of webmail clients that support a proper signature
delimiter.

Your provider seems to be using the same webmailer as mine (this Internet
Messaging Program (IMP), though mine is using v3.2.8 and yours 3.2.5).

I can use the propper cutsign -- CR without problems when using the
webmailer. Maybe you can check your signature in the webmailer.

Agreed - finally, in Windows, something as good as the astonishing SpamSieve on
OS X http://c-command.com/spamsieve/ which I previously thought was
unbeatable!

In fact, it is so impressive I will be buying the paying version although I
don't need it (the comments above concern the free version ...).
