I don't like proportional serif fonts, so is there any way that I can
get TheBat to default to a sans font?

Of course : configure TB! to display every message in text only, and configure
your favorite font in the viewer configuration.

SB Of course : configure TB! to display every message in text only,
SB and configure your favorite font in the viewer configuration.

That is indeed what I do, for a diminishing number of my sources.

As has been mentioned in this forum before, more and more people are
sending mails that *only* make sense when rendered in html (forms,
tables etc).

In my are of business using TheBat is a luxury. Most people have
Outlook/Notes imposed on them by the IT strategy of their employer.

OT Frankly, if Outlook were even a *little* bit more competent at e-mail
handling I'd probably migrate just for a quiet life! I'm also
interested in Outlook 2007's ability to integrate with desktop search
engines another area where I feel that Ritlabs is missing core
usability/functionality (IMAP anyone?) for fluff. /OT

And as for all those that tell me that Thunderbird is just as powerful
as TheBat!... sigh

Logo/picture in signature

2007-06-29 Thread Tony
Hello TBUDL,

I want to use a small .gif logo in my signature. I found a command for
attaching a picture; but that just attaches it. I'm looking for a way
to really display the picture.
It's for HTML messages only.

You need HTML for that and the only that can be done is manually, you
can't use HTML in templates.

As I see it, TB! offers to display dates in the language your computer
prefers (%DATE) or in English (%DATEEN). If your language is English,
I can see no easy way to have the date displayed in another language,
except for changing your computer's first language.

Maybe someone else knows an easier way, that I'm not aware of, to
achieve this.

Sure, modify the template that Januk Aggarwal uploaded to the Macro
and QT repository: http://cgi.silverstones.com/library.php#date_translation
Januk's QT processes the Date: header in a quoted message, but with
minor tweaking it should be applicable for the %Date macro.

BTW With v3 you should use the 'Version 2 adaptation'.
