Well, TB tells you exactly what to do.
Find a certificate for the issuer of the certioficate and import that.
(Into your browser IIRC, but it's quite some time ago, since I did
that.)

Certificate problem

2008-01-22 Thread Peter Fjelsten
TheBat-users,

My hosting service changed data centre recently and suddenly I am
 getting this

,- [ ]
| !22-01-2008, 21:36:39: SEND - TLS handshake failure. Invalid server
| certificate (The issuer of this certificate chain was not found).
`-

The hosting company says there is a valid certificate. How can I fix
this? Accounts are IMAP TLS to dedicated port. There is no problem
 getting mail via TLS.

 TIA

Things getting worse?

2008-01-22 Thread Nick Dutton
Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help me put right a couple of niggling
"features" that have cropped up recently:

1. TheBat wants attention after a mail has been sent
If I send a mail and then focus on another application, TB! will
flash to tell me that it's been sent sucessfully until I go back
to it. This, I'm sure, didn't happen before. (Before when, I don't
know)

2. A bump for a older problem where my new mail icon (mailto:
shortcut) now adds a "New Mail.url" attachment to the new mail that's
been created. All seems correct in the registry.

I'm having a go to see if V4 fixes either of these... it doesn't.

Anyone?

TIA,

Thomas,
thanks again for your patience.
Everything is working fine now. I realise that I did not fully
understand the meaning of the sequential filters and the tickmark.
I believed that without the tickmark the following filters would not
come into play at all (even for other messages).
I also thought once a message had been moved following filters were
not relevant anymore. I will be more careful with my filtering in
future.
