Just set it up once to activate the POP server. Then you should never need to start a web browser again (until you create another gmail address). BUT there is still the problem of IP address. Every so often, you get "web login required" messages in your email client error logs and the only way to fix it is to actually login with a web browser. It is a real pain with VPNs (I use whichever one gets a connection that doesn't drop and it's not always the same one) or even IP addresses in different countries without a VPN at all. Nobody else seems to play these games with IP addresses. Adrian .. Current version is 6.1.8 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Because the string "softroc...@stage.yahoogroups.com" does not contain the search string "softroc...@yahoogroups.com" > Do I need to manually change each and > every yahoogroups filter? Yes. My suggestion is to copy them one at a time to Notepad. Then, when you have them all in notepad use the Replace function to change all instances of "@yahoogroups.com" (without quotes) to "@stage.yahoogroups.com" or "@*yahoogroups.com" (without quotes). Then copy the whole of the notepad text back into your sorting office. (You may like to take the precaution of a backup first!) You will probably have to visit the "Share with..." tab of each filter and re-select which accounts to apply them to. -- Best regards MFPAmailto:2014-667rhzu3dc-lists-gro...@riseup.net Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative Using The Bat! v4.0.38 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 3 Current version is 6.1.8 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

That may be version-specific, as it is slightly different here. If I right-click, for example, "Incoming Mail" or "Read Messages," the only option not greyed-out is "New Filter."
