What I saw in the context menu when right clicking on the Message To: was two choices: Write a message to this address, and Reply to this address. I got to thinking that it would be just as easy to provide a choice to either Write a message to all addressees, or Reply to all addressees. It's not a critical thing, but when there is more than one procedure to do, there's a possibility for error to be introduced. I can cope without it, but I do like Miguel's idea of using Edit as New. If I'm going to err, I'd rather it be the subject line than the address positions. It seems cleaner somehow. Thanks for your input, it gave me a chance to review again what I was doing. :-) -- Kind Regards, Maggie It's a poor cart that goes only in one direction. -Le Guin Running Windows 7, and emailing with The Bat! 7.0.0.56 Current version is 9.1.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

It's a good idea. It has the advantage of only needing to select the previous text and subject then type over them, much faster than copying and pasting... I could even change the hotkey to something more convenient than Alt+F6. Hello Maggie, > Having a right-click option to mirror the To: CC: and BCC of a > previous mail could be helpful - it could be called Write a New > Message to ALL As a workaround, you may select the message and, form the top menu Message, select 'Edit as new'. A new editor window will open with the To, CC and BCC fields properly filled. However, you will have to edit the Subject, if it is different, and obviously the text of the message. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Urech (El Escorial (Madrid)- Spain) Using The Bat! How to create a new message to ALL?
Greetings Bats, It's been tedious communicating with a large group where everyone who needs to be included in a new email is in the To:, CC:, and BCC: line. I have been using the right click method to Write a message to this address, and then using copy and paste to add everyone into the proper positions. I could see this as a filter, but it wouldn't address a changing group? Having a right-click option to mirror the To: CC: and BCC of a previous mail could be helpful - it could be called Write a New Message to ALL -- Kind regards, Maggie “Insufficient facts always invite danger.” ― Spock Running Windows 7, and emailing with The Bat! 7.0.0.56 Current version is 9.1.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
