TB and multiple desktops
I use virtual desktops, four of them, and all my other applications are happy to dwell on just one of them. Not the Bat, though, which will inhabit all four wherever it is started. This is beginning to annoy me as TB needs to be minimised when switching to another desktop: has anybody else experienced this, and is there something that can be done about it? -- Regards, G. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! Have just tried the above but it doesn't work with TB. Is that because of the Bat's missing Unicode support? -- Regards, G. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! I'm sure this is a FAQ but I haven't been paying attention... Just upgraded to TB 3.01, no problems, but BayesIt has stopped spotting ANY spam - not that it ever was any good at it (about 1 in 3 with 2.x). This was introduced in the latest version, I believe, or maybe I just didn't discover it earlier - but it suits me :-) Trouble is every time I restart TB! the Message List window covers the entire screen and I have to manually resize the display to bring the other TB! windows into view. Quoting
I'm having a strange problem - I'm probably not the first/only one so apologies if this is a FAQ, I've been off the list for a while: I have a reply template with %QUOTES in it. I usually highlight a section of the message I am replying to and hit F4. That works as expected, but only when replying to messages without previous quotes in it. When I try the same with one of those messages people send me with several generations of previous messages quoted at the end, and I select the whole lot for quoting, nothing appears in the reply message except my signature. In fact, even the Dear %FNAME macro doesn't work then. Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Regards, G. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! TB blacklisted on Lycos?
I remember some discussion a while ago about some ISPs blacklisting messages from TB as spam. I've now had two emails to someone with a Lycos webmail address disappear mysteriously, with no other apparent explanation - when I mail the same address from the same account but using a Mac, no problems. If I use my yahoo account, no problem either. But when I use TB, the mail disappears into a black hole... Regards, G. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat!
