Same here, as well.  I cleaned it up by removing the built-in 0.5
version, and then downloading and installing the 0.4gm from
http://klirik.narod.ru/usefuls/bayesiteng.htm#download.  I also
restored the "learning files" which had already been working pretty
well for me (selective.txt, spamdict.idx, spamdict.lst, spamdict.bye,
nspamdict.idx, nspamdict.lst, nspamdict.bye).

This is for POP service, I think.  On my IMAP account, the numbers are
shown in angle brackets, eg. 150 <30>, and there are no subfolders.

Discretionary auto-reply

I am looking for guidance on the best way to send a "discretionary
auto-reply", ie. the received message will not have any header or body
content which is matchable.  I've thought of dragging it from my Inbox
to an AutoReply folder, where a filter would be automatically
activated to create a reply with my message above the original, to
immediately send the reply, and then to delete the original ... I
can't get that running.
