Filtering HTML emails
I'm trying to filter all emails containing HTML into a spam folder but the rule I'm using doesn't work. It appears that if the email has a Content-Type: text/html in the headers it works but if it has a Content-Type: multipart/alternative in the headers and the Content-Type: text/html is in the message body it doesn't work. Re: Filtering HTML emails
Now we see the text/html header appearing again. But this header appears in the body. The issue being, TB! stops filtering when it hits the boundary line (or so I've heard). So that would be the reason some mails are sneaking through. Ah, at least I understand why it's not working even if I don't like it. Perhaps a future release will give filters the option of searching through multipart headers.
