Creating HTML Message

2001-01-04 Thread Monbebe Admin

Hello,

I'm searching 2 sort of tools to create complex HTML messages.

- First a software to do it, encode images, adding text message
and so that can link attachment multipart/related inline and not
from an HTTP server.

- a CGI software or url that can do this remotely. For example, you
specify the text message the url of your HTML page, the From, To,
Subject and other needed fields, and the message is sent
automatically to the receiver, encoded in the same condition as
specified before.

Thank you,

Purging folders for old messages problem

2000-01-03 Thread Monbebe Admin

Hello TBUDL,

I have added "keep message in base for n (days)" to 90 days.
Also I have checked "Remove old messages on exit" as well as "Compress the folder",
but old messages are still here. Do I miss something?

Best regards,

Re: THE BAT! Will it be a newsreader option ?

 Yes Outlook and Communicator
package all that stuff together, but they are both bloated pigs of

We have used Communicator since 4.5 version and Netscape 3.0 before for
mail and it was perfect and working very well. The bat is a really good
piece of software and news is relatively similar to e-mail management.
I hope to see this feature too.

When you put %FROM as listed here in a template, should it override
totally the From: field or only add one more recipient.

 Hello Monbebe,

to override the FROM: field you must do it that way:

%FROM="" %FROM="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"

Sorry but this don't work either. Here is exactly the line:

%FROM=""%FROM="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"%REPLYTO="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"Dear %OFromName,

it' the same with the %REPLYTO macro. Your line must be:

 %FROM=""%FROM="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"%REPLYTO=""%REPLYTO="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"Dear
 %OFromName,

No I mean the %FROM="" doesn't blank the field. The
%FROM="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is added at the end of the account address.

Reading confirmation when I receive a message

1999-10-11 Thread Monbebe Admin

Hello TBUDL,

I would like to set up an autoresponder that send a message when I read a
mail, something like "I read your mail thx you etc. etc."

So I gone to filter then edit a message into option panel, send a message
to that filter rules but nothing was sent back. Any hint, it seems I miss
something !
