Sorting Office/Filters
Hello, I've just switched to 'The Bat!', and am still exploring all the functions and features of this program. I have a simple question about the 'Sorting Office' (Account > Sorting Office/Filters): Is it possible to apply a newly created 'Sorting Rule' to the messages that are *currently* in the Inbox? This is possible in Outlook Expr, but I can't find a similar function in 'The Bat!'. Can someone help me out? -- Greetings, Raf Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: Compuserve and TB! ?
Hello, O> - Is it possible to collect his Compuserve mail with TB!? Yes, you can access your CompuServe Classic mailbox using any POP3 mail-program. O> - If yes, how do I arrange that? First, you have to create a 'POP3 mail-only password'. To do this, start your CompuServe software and do a 'GO POPMAIL'. Then click on 'create mail-only password'. Afterwards, create a new account in The Bat, with the following settings: * POP3-server: pop.compuserve.com * SMTP-server: use the SMTP-server of your ADSL provider * username : your username * password : your POP3-password (see above) O> - Could the address book be imported? (No need to import his old O> messages, since he can keep Compuserve to access those). I'm not sure if this is possible ... -- Greetings, Raf Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: Compuserve and TB! ?
Hello again, O> - Could the address book be imported? (No need to import his old O> messages, since he can keep Compuserve to access those). I noticed that there are some conversion tools available on the 'Email and Communications Forum' (GO EMAILCOM in your CompuServe-software). Good luck! -- Greetings, Raf Using The Bat! v1.62i on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: Can't Save Account Properties
Hello, SK> I can't save Account Properties. Each time I open The Bat! everything SK> is lost. What do I do to fix the problem? I notice that you're working with a beta-version: X-Mailer: The Bat! (v1.63 Beta/2) Educational AFAIK, this is a known bug in Beta/2, and it's already solved in the current version (Beta/7). Please use the BETA-mailinglist if you have any further questions. You can also download the current 'stable' release (1.62i) from http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/download.html -- Greetings, Raf Using The Bat! v1.62i on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
