This question is a TBBETA issue. The tick mark indicates that the
message has an S/MIME signature.

There is attachment on his message (seems like S/mime) but my office
server remove it so I didn't see it.

Tick Mark on envelope {was Checking for mail automatically}

2002-03-03 Thread Raj

Fellow TB users,

I just noticed the mail from Claude Renaud with subject "Checking for mail
automatically" creates a 'tick mark' on the envelope icon.

It also had an invalid signature message.

What does the tick mark indicate ???

There is a checkbox in Connection Centre "Disconnect automatically
after session finish". Try to check it.

It won't disconnect unless it established the connection.

Checking for mail automatically

2002-03-03 Thread Claude Renaud

Hi,

I connect to the internet through dial-up networking connections.
When the bat! checks for mail every x minute it autoconnects to the
internet if a connection is not already running but it does not shut
down the connection automatically. What option I have to activate to
solve this ?

If I connect to the internet before launching the bat!, while I'm
surfing, is it possible to tell the bat! not to disconnect
automatically ?

In other words, I would like the bat to autodisconnect when it
connects itself to the internet whereas no connection is not already
active and I would like it to stay connected when a connection has
previously been established before I launch it ?

Is it possible ?
