I find it handy to have the little notepad right there within the program for various annotations -- handier than swapping out to another program. I also have it configured to send out some birthday greetings automatically, just in case I forget -- but that's about it. I don't use it too heavily. I'd be bothered if TB became a fully-bl[own/oated] PIM like Outlook -- however, I donn't mind the presence of SmartBat. It's small enough and discrete enough that should a user not wish to use it, it won't be in the way pestering them. -- Peace, be well J Allen R Day http://protempore.org The Bat! 2.01.3, BayesIt! 0.4gm | Windows XP Service Pack 1 build 2600 When your economy is kind of ooching along, it's important to let people have more of their own money. -George W. Hi Darrin Thursday, October 23, 2003, 12:41:45 AM, you wrote: D> Isnt this what a PIM is for? Wouldn't be surprised if they headed that way..they've got a great address book, email client, notepad and scheduler..what next? and they've certainly got the smarts to produce a good PIM. I wonder if this'll start a whole new slew of "YES!"s and "NOOO!"s :) Cheers, -- Vishal Current version is 2.01.3 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Wednesday, October 22, 2003 9:39:09 PM Hi, I havent really messed with this feature and was curious about how others are using, if they are using it. Seems like a nice feature, but in my opinion ritlabs should keep their concentration on other features of TB instead of something like this. Isnt this what a PIM is for?
