Nope. I've got a 1.6 GHz machine and it still flickers. It was fixed
before, but it seems to have returned.

Well, for me not. And second for me is flickering when it is switched
on. Probably has to do that my laptop is not the fastest (600 MHz) but
for mailing it is quite okay. I guess the "weak" processor plus Win XP
makes the item flickering.

I don't mind it as I am not using it - but maybe someone wants it and
is disturbed by the flickering.

I like and use the menu navigator, but that doesn't preclude any
additional help features you desire.

Ah. But you do have to remember that there's something to look for,
even if you don't remember where it is. For me, putting these things
in an improved Help feature would serve the purpose much better.

Yes. There are so many menu items now that I sometimes forget where is
which. The menu navigator is faster for me than guessing and looking
through all the menues and submenues.

Not presently, but if I could access it via the keyboard it might just
come in handy locating a menu item I'm not entirely certain where it's at;
or am too lazy to properly navigate to.

There should be a little button to the left of the 'minimize' button in
your window title bar. Clicking it opens a little window that makes it
possible to "search" through the menus for an item in the menu. It can be
very handy, but not so much for me as I don't like mice :-)

Where is the Menu Navigator Button?

I've never used it. I use the keyboard most of the time so to be honest
I don't stay tuned in to what buttons are available. I've selected and
unselected the option, and did NOT notice a change. So either I'm
missing something, or? What can I say? Stupid me.

Menu Navigator & Keyboard

2004-02-22 Thread Allen
AFAIK, there is not presently a way to configure a keyboard shortcut to
navigate the menu navigator. If this is the case, would it not be
particularly helpful to have the ability to call it from the keyboard for
those of us who prefer not to resort to the mouse in our everyday usage of
TB? If there is some agreement on this, I'll file a feature request . . .
