Asking the obvious but presumably Lycos has to be told to allow POP access in a similar way to Yahoo or Gmail? Sometimes, people fall into the trap of changing the settings but not saving the changes. Could it be something to do with "connection" or "authentication" settings in TB!? Is anyone using Lycos's POP3 option to retrieve mail from Lycos using TB? I am using the presets according to Lycos which are incoming server: pop.mail.lycos.com, outgoing server: smtp.mail.lycos.com, user name: my address @lycos.com and my lycos password and have never been able to connect in order to retrieve my Lycos email.
