Re: Pain to click on Unknown CA Certificate evertime receiving mail
Hello again List, I had to un-install and re-install TB yesterday. After the re-install, I restored the backups. Everything is fine but the secure connections with the IMAP servers is a problem now. When clicking receive mail, overtime TB gives a dialog box about the certificate and to click OK without giving the option to add the trusted certificate. In case of gmail, I was able to add the certificate. It is a pain to click OK every time and for each mail server. Is there a way out of this? I've been waiting and waiting to see if anyone replies to this message - I have posted a similar message twice recently but never get a response. Considering the usual prompt and informed replies to requests for help on this list I find it baffling. Well, I had kind of forgotten that I had posted this to the list and kept getting grustrated on geting that dialog box Unknown CA certificate. Thanks for reminding me to search for this. After I got your message, I just went to google and searched for unknown ca certificate+the bat and got the reply on the first page. Thanks to google. I'm not so frustrated now. Here's what you need to do: Go to your Data folder, and delete IntermCA.ABD and RootCA.ABD. They will be rebuilt when you restart TB. I am on Win XP and for me the data folder was here: C:\Documents and Settings\deboo\Application Data\The Bat! Hope that helps -- Best regards, Deboo Current version is 3.98.04 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
