LSB Sorry about that. I do not understand why this fails, repeatedly, over

Well until you just mentioned it I though I was losing it. A while ago someone 
in the group said my sigdash was not working, but I checked the template and it 
looked fine, but it still would not work. So I just copied and pasted it from a 
working template and changed the details. It worked but still does not explain 
why a sigdash would stop working.

So yes, I have noticed the same problem, only once or twice. Nice to know I'm 
not going crazy.

In that case, delete the password for your secondary account.

But I'm not sure about the location, as it's an option that isn't

I find no passwords in Options - Netword  Administration. The only
password I can find is in Account - Transport - Receive mail.

Password for secondary account

Whenever I start The Bat!, the secondary account requires a password
before I can open the tree. This is not the case for the primary
account. How can I have the password for the secondary account be
applied automatically upon opening The Bat! ?

The only way that comes to mind is to upgrade to the pro version and
start using OTFE, that will prompt for a password for accessing the
message base.
