With Opera 5.11 it does not work.
Try to write this one:

href="mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=Reply from Resins Project Website"

this way:

href="mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=Reply%20from%20esins%20Project%20Website";

MAYBE it helps :-)

I had this problem once before, go into internet options (if you are
using internet explorer) change the default client to something else
(Outlook?) hit ok. Now go back into internet options and change the
defaualt client back to The Bat!. Should work after that.

It seems to be a browser thing, because it works for me when i tried it
