Hi Trevor and all of you,

H is it possible to export and import filters?

In addition to the advice about copying and pasting between
accounts, you can also copy and then paste into Notepad or other
 text editor for saving.

I just have a new computer.
Is it also possible to import filters I used on my previous computer
in the Bat?
(I used the same version of the Bat.)

That's possible.
When the setup of your new config is the same as your old config
(account names and folder names) and you don't have any other filters
yet, you can even copy all of your old filters.
Close TB and copy the account.srb files fro your old system to your
new system, there's an account.srb file in the mail directory and in
every account directory.
When you don't want to copy all filters, it's best to use Trevor's
way.

Hi Peter,

 Hi Harald,

H is it possible to export and import filters?

Yes, select the filter and copy it to the clipboard with ctrl+C. Go
to the other account and select the destination (eg. Incoming or
Outgoing) and paste the filter with ctrl+V.

Ah, so easy. :-|
I have searched through all the menues but couldn't imagine what
copypaste would mean in this context.

Thanks and best wishes,
Harald

Also, you can use the 'share with..' option, right?

Where is that option hidden?

HF Where is that option hidden?

He's mistaken with quick templates, those can be shared with other
accounts. Filters cannot, though you can create common filters, they
can be used by all accounts.
