Re: How To I Remove all Templates?
Hallo Scott, SS I would like to know how to I remove all templetes from the bat? Whether it's possible to delete all templates I don't know, but you could make them blank. SS When I write a new e-mail reply or whatever just want the window to be SS blank that have hello and whatever on it.. Account = Properties = Click on the + before templates Now you can select the templates and you can edit them, make them blank or whatever. SS Also the when selecting text in the write message window it won't SS delete only way I can is to cut it... When I select text in the Edit Mail Message screen I can delete by pressing Del, that should work for you too. -- Groetjes, Roelof -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com

I am not sure if you can delete some files in the relevant dir... but a temp solution is ... yes to create another template :) Create a Quick Template and name it as 'C' for the example sake. This will then contain only one line %clear After this next time you open a message or hit reply, just type 'c' and Ctrl+Space -- Warm regards, Raj mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] I've been in love with the same woman for many years. Re: How To I Remove all Templates?
Hello Scott, Historians believe that Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at 22:02 GMT +1030 was when, Scott Sims [SS] typed the following: SS I would like to know how to I remove all templetes from the bat? Just so you know, if you ever try to forward something, your forwarding template can't be blank. If it is, only the MIME-forwarding will produce any reasonable results. As others have said, your best bet is to alter the templates in the Account Properties. If you really do want them blank, use the %BLANK macro. SS When I write a new e-mail reply or whatever just want the window to be SS blank that have hello and whatever on it.. I'm not sure I understand, do you want it to automatically fill in something or not? SS Also the when selecting text in the write message window it won't SS delete only way I can is to cut it... You can change that behaviour by going to Options - Editor Preferences. You need to alter the Block settings. I don't have your problem using the following setting. _ Persistent Blocks (unchecked) X Overwrite Blocks ( checked ) Hope that helps. -- Thanks for writing, Januk Aggarwal Using The Bat! 1.54/10 under Windows 98 4.10 Build A Have you ever imagined a world without hypothetical situations? -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com

Hello Raj, At 9:29 AM on Wednesday, October 31, 2001 you wrote the following on the posted subject 'How To I Remove all Templates?': Raj However %Blank does not work when one uses Ctrl+Space. Raj i.e. once you already have some Raj text generated by the default template. TB! first looks for a template in the following order: Address Book Entry Address Book Group Folder Account Default Assuming no template is selected @ any of the first 3 levels, putting %Blank in Account Templates should do it I would think.
