Re: Newsgroups with The Bat! and MailTraq
Miguel, THANK YOU! It works great now, and I really appreciate the work you put into this - WOW! :) One thing though: how do I get Mailtraq to get NEW news? I got about 2,000 messages last nite from one newsgroup, but it doesn't seem to get new ones - though it says last collection at whatevertimewas10minutesago - is that normal? I have nothing to download anymore into THE BAT. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you, Sebastian. :) PS: Also, I have a newsgroup that is downloaded (about 1,500 messages), but that I had not activated the gateway for when I first started out. Now I have the messages but it doesn't forward them to my mailbox - again, what am I doing wrong? THANK YOU! -Your Mail- From: Miguel A. Re: Newsgroups with The Bat! and MailTraq
Hello Miguel, Thanks for the detailed, but brief instructions. it was excellent and easy to follow, it was a cake to complete it. You should do this (write instructions, manuals) processionally. I only run into one problem: Select Mail gateway... I had to go to each newsgroup and complete for each one-by-one. Could not find a default setting (the default in that section is for the incoming groups, how many, how often etc)but have not find a default from Mailtaq to Bat. maybe there is one somewhere. Thanks again for your careful instructions.
