I've tried to uninstall The Bat! v1.62 but I get an error when I try to remove it from the Control Panel, the uninstaller says there was an error while cleaning the program directory, please how can I remove it? Most likely, the uninstaller doesn't remove any files that it did not originally istall - this means your email, i.e. files that were created in the course of using the program. This is normal and correct behavior; uninstallers shouldn't delete files created by the user. (Also, the uninstaller will not be able to remove the program's directory if a file in that directory is kept open by any application.) I had the exact same problem yesterday when I was uninstalling and reinstalling. It seems to be a glitch. The program didn't even attempt an uninstall due to some error, as you mentioned. What I did was go in and manually deleted the Bat folder, with everything in it. Then I used RegCleaner (or manually editing the registry will also do) to uninstall any remaining Bat registries, and of course deleted all shortcuts on the menu and desktop. It was an unorthodox method for deleting a program but it seemed to do the trick.
