There is a slightly awkward way of doing it, that is to type (c ) (which has an extra space between the "c" and the ")") and then go back and delete that space. The required (c) then stays . -- Robin Using The Bat! v9.5.1 Windows 10.0 Build 19045 Popfile v1.1.3 Current version is 9.1.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

This seems to be a feature of the PureHTML editor, and I haven't found a way to turn it off. If you switch to RichText editor instead (which is slightly more limited), the changing doesn't happen. -- < Jernej Simončič ><><><><>< https://eternallybored.org/ > If the assumptions are wrong, the conclusions aren't likely to be very good. -- Burns's Balance Current version is 9.1.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: turning off automatic copyright symbol with (c)
Maybe you should stop using HTML to write e-mail. I just typed in (c) directly in this mail without using any space character and it has stayed the same. Let's see if it survives posting to the mailing list. I never use HTML in e-mail. I also have the same version of The Bat! Pro 10.3.2 (64-bit Halloween edition without autoupdate) but on Windows 10 Professional Adrian Friday, December 16, 2022, 10:22:40 AM, Avram Sacks achdu...@gmail.com wrote: > HI, > > As an attorney, I am frequently needing to cite statute and regulation > subsections in e-mails.
