Re[2]: Locked Account
Ming-Li 2. Try first deleting the ACCOUNT.FLX file, which is the file TB Ming-Li stores your folder structure. Ming-Li 3. Launch TB, and it should create a new ACCOUNT.FLX. Now you should Ming-Li see nothing but those 4 system folders under that account. That did the job, Ming-Li. Thanks. I don't se a recreated account.flx. Ming-Li 4. Try the Ctrl-Alt-Shift-L trick again, and see if TB could Ming-Li recreate the folder structure. Yes, folder structure is intact including contained messages. The only wrinkle was that the filters were all reset to move to inbox rather than the original folders, but that's simple enough to fix. Thanks again! Reply begun at: Monday, September 25, 2000 7:19:00 AM When that account receives POP3 mail, it hangs just before closing the pop3 connection. I had minimized the getting mail window, so TheBat! had account files open. I realized that was the reason when relaunching TheBat!, and there was no lock then. That fixed, I deleted, then readded the account against the same account files. The account still misbehaves. If I try to open the Sorting Office/Filters, TheBat! hangs. Ming-Li Mind telling us what files were open? How did you fixed them? What Ming-Li did you deleted? If the filter file "account.srx" is corrupt, I Ming-Li would guess there's no way to fix it other than creating a new one. -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org
Re[2]: Locked Account
Marck You might try the Ctrl-Alt-Shift-L Emergency Folder restore function. Marck This is a non-documented keystroke that makes TB search for lost Marck folders and add them back into the hierarchy. Thanks, but that was the first thing I tried. I can only assume something's corrupted (since attempt to look at filters hangs). But what!
