There were only 3-4 messages in the thread when I responded... (I have
had no "land line" for a few days to connect with as we just moved
into our new home).

Got it - no offence taken, all previous comments retracted! :-) Sorry
Wolfgang, your English in everything I have read seemed so natural that
I had no indication it was a second language for you...

Will do.

Ouch!, don't you think that is a little harsh :-( especially for a
moderator of a UDL that is supposed to cater to the new user? Yes, I
am offended! And, I did try it, I just missed where it was :-(

Funny, Langenscheidt gave me 'amazed' for 'verblüfft'.

Thank you and all the others for your understanding. Rest assured
that I will try to be much more careful with such things in the
future.

In this particular case I was very amazed (translated
'verbluefft' correctly? ) that someone asks a question here when
it's a lot faster (three mouseclicks) to check it out.

Well said Gerry, and I would take it a step further, and send a letter to
the List Owner. That is yet another unacceptable comment by Wolfgang, and
should not be tolerated.

I hope you were just joking around when you said that. We all would
like people to try things and read the "manual" so to speak before
asking a question, but, stating that a person had a dumb question is,
IMHO, not a good thing to do, especially for a moderator.

I apologize in advance if I misunderstood your meaning.
