Hi,

EH GMX have that stupid policy that first you have to download mail and
EH only then they let you upload. The server replies with "Please log in
EH first".

A very good method against spammers.

EH It's really annoying but they haven't even bothered to reply to a
EH respective request of mine.

Right they are.

EH GMX is down most of the
EH time anyway, and they are painfully slow.

Absolutely not true in my experience.

Sorry, I found no such checkbox in my "advanced transport
configuration"-tab. Did I do something wrong ?
