As it relates to The Bat!, there is no convenient way (that I've found
in 24 hours :) to browse the messages in a digest.
The primary reason I subscribe to "big" lists as digests is so I don't
get messages dropping into my mailbox all during the day; they come in
a flood when it's convenient to delete threads that are uninteresting
or whatever... I'm somewhat neurotic, and I'm online 24/7, and I just
HAVE to hit the little flying bat when I have new messages. So, I go,
see an uninteresting message, and delete it... With digests, they
pile up so the threads stick together, etc...
