You don't need to start over again, just hit "Page up". The scrollbar
missing *is* a bug to me. If it is not it needs a good explanation.

BTW, have you noticed a difference in the reply message if you reply
from the message window or directly from the inbox? Once you'll have
all the headers in the reply message - another bug to me.

Er, actually I've never had anything bad happen at all when doing
that.

Very.  Very strange indeed
Consider uninstalling your mouse software and see if that cures it?  I
haven't heard anyone yelling about this yet and you're not using a beta,
so something just isn't right.
After that, try reinstalling Windows.  After that (!) back up the
important stuff and reformat.  Hopefully it won't come to that
though...
