Hi andrew,

thanks for you help tim it worked. I found finding a service which
offered smtp access a bit tricky but eventually found
http://www.crosswinds.net which I post incase anyone else needs that
kind of service.

but once again thanks for the tip, I configures the bat to
authenticate for smtp and it worked like a dream ;-)
