I also use a fake domain (one that doesn't exist) on usenet, and TB uses
this fake domain for Msg IDs. So, for newsgroups, I use this fake domain
for my Involved and Reply to me filters. Try it :-)

That would work except I don't use a "domain address" on usenet (to try
to limit spam to postmaster@), but I guess this is the only way to do
it.

Hmm, I wonder if I should contact the writer and ask for a "token"
option in MyGate?

Yes, I colour direct replies to me and thread branches I am "involved"
in. Since I use my own domain (just like you seem to), all my message
IDs will be [EMAIL PROTECTED], so if the In-Reply-To header line includes
"@rancho-k.com" the message is a reply to me. If "@rancho-k.com" appears
in the References header line (I actually look in kludges in the filter)
it means I am involved. My filters first look for Involved and then for
Reply to me.

Very nice! Now I _almost_ don't care if TB gets newsgroups support.

Have anybody worked out a way to get replies to one's messages
flagged/coloured/whatever? One cannot insert a token to one's
MESSAGE-ID, AFAIK?

Works a treat here. Only problem is that if a message is crossposted
it is nearly impossible to filter it to the correct area! I have not
yet found a way round this.

I forgot to say that even the Mail Dispatcher (News Dispatcher :) and
Download filters seem to work flawlessly.
