This allows your readers, when replying, to quote your text without the signature and list footers since everything below and including the sig delimiter is excluded when quoting. You can easily automate this process by including the sig delimiter in your templates. Even if you barely have a signature to speak of, that doesn't make any difference to whether or not you need a cut mark. You are being courteous to other readers since at least three lines of text is added to your signature by the list server. Re: Server Timeouts
Hiya I have the same problem since installing 3.5. I wasn't sure if it were only me it is happening to as loading 3.5 also coincided with my ISP doing some "maintenance" to the email system. I seem to recall this happened befor in a previous version - but can't remember how it got fixed. Anyone remember this ? Server Timeouts
Hello TBUDL, I often have a problem where the connection window stays open and seems to be doing nothing. When I abort all tasks and connect again it usually goes through without a problem. This is OK when I am watching for emails, but when the PC is unattended it is a real pain, since no emails will be picked up and processed while I am away. The Server Timeout setting looks as if it should kill off a server if it has "hung" for x seconds, but this never seems to happen. Is there a method of making this work or is it intended for some other function? I have had to write a utility to kill TheBat every so often and restart it so this does not happen, but I feel there should be an easier way. Server Timeouts
Hello tbudl, Is it possible to increase the default timeouts for mailservers within TB? I connect to a mail server than can sometimes take a while to respond, causing TB to timeout the connection and emit an Unwanted Bleep! -- Best regards, Julian mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v1.60i on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Current Ver: 1.60i FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug Reports: https://bt.ritlabs.com
