Re: TB! V1.54/10 - Moving between accounts

2001-11-04 Thread Januk Aggarwal

Hello jan,

An archeological dig discovered that on Saturday, November 3, 2001 at
09:23 GMT -0500, [EMAIL PROTECTED] [J] typed the following:

JI created an incoming filter in the Dialup account which
Jtransfers everything from the Dialup Inbox to the Cable
JInbox (to be filtered appropriately).

JThere it sits unless I run the filters manually. (I have
Jassigned a hot-key combo)

JQ: Is there a way to automate what I now do manually?

Unfortunately, it isn't straightforward. If you want to stay within
TB only, you can recreate your filters in the Dialup account to move
them directly to the Cable account's folders.

You could also use the redirect feature to move them to your Cable
Inbox, but that destroys some of the header information.

The third option is to get an external program that can collect and
combine the mail from the two mailboxes before feeding it to TB. I
seem to recall others mentioning Hamster for this task.

TB! V1.54/10 - Moving between accounts

2001-11-03 Thread jan

Hello TBUDListers.

I have a cable account a dialup account (backup)

All of my work (AB, template, filters, etc is associated
   with cabel account.

I created a Dialup account folder which I add or delete
(leaving files on HD) as needed whenever my cable modem
   goes down.

I created an incoming filter in the Dialup account which
transfers everything from the Dialup Inbox to the Cable
   Inbox (to be filtered appropriately).

There it sits unless I run the filters manually. (I have
   assigned a hot-key combo)

Q: Is there a way to automate what I now do manually?

   TIA

Have you tried w/o assigning the hot key ? My experience is that whenever a hot key
has
been assigned the manual works only 'manually'
