Good evening Michael, It was foretold that on 07/04/2008 @ 18:29:50 GMT-0400 (which was 19:29:50 where I live) Michael J. Sharp would write: > Now I am not for one moment claiming my problem is due to TB. It's > got to be an Opera problem because it worked fine before, but can I > tell TB where to find the browser? As far as i can tell not. You need to make adjustments into Opera: I suppose you installed the beta in a different location a... go into preferences ---> advanced -> programs. Look for the http:// protocol and point it to (in my case) C:\Program Files\Opera\Opera.exe where Opera is the folder with the stable version situated. The path has to be in the box checked "open with default application". If the http:// protocol isn't here just add it. That "should" do the trick (in combination with setting the stable version as your default browser if needed). -- Best regards, Luc http://www.dzinelabs.com --- Using the best e-mail client: The Bat! version 4.0.18 with Windows XP (build 2600), version 5.1 Service Pack 2 and using the best browser: Opera. It is often said: "Always put off tomorrow what you can do today", but if the toilet is out of order, I am not sure if that still holds. TB not opening urls in Opera
Hello Tbudl, Further to my previous post about Opera... I just clicked on the link for the 40202 beta and that finds Opera and downloads the file just fine. Now I am not for one moment claiming my problem is due to TB. It's got to be an Opera problem because it worked fine before, but can I tell TB where to find the browser? Best Regards, -- Michael J.
