Hi, you used the ISO-8859-15 encoding for your message. If you do so, you shouldn't (can't) use a ´ in your message because it is not included in the ISO-8859-15 charset. The Bat shows a instead of a ´ if it knows of 8859-15 (like The Bat 1.54 with fixed 8859-15 encoding). Using ' should work better, I think. ;-) configuration isnt complete yet, so it may take a few more days for ^ Im sure you wont have to. :) ^ ^ -- Yours, Patrick -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com

May I remind you, it was us - the users - telling RITLabs to not release a Christmas version (thought I've told it just a few days ago) because it would greatly harm TB!'s reputation. Just think of good programmes that have been harmed by too early releases (Netscape's Navigator/Communicator for one). From what I can see in the current beta TB! is nearing a release, but there are still at least two major bugs to straighten out (optimising memory handling for the RTFV under Win9x and some quirks with the CC). Hi Nick, Personally, I also prefer my software more than relatively bug free though I appreciate that most/all software has bugs of one sort or another. I am happy to wait until things are right, as would most people who rely on software to run their business. Meanwhile, I am enjoying the best e-mail client I have yet encountered one that already does more than I need, more reliably and with less fuss than any other. The only things I would personally change are the dodgy looking button images and the uncertainty of whether I will have to pay to upgrade when a new version does arrive.
