I set a custom hot-key combo for this in Options -> Define System
Hot-Keys. I set it to Ctrl+M because I'm a former Eudora user. It
seems to work outside of TB! for me, but the usual F2 and Alt+F2
don't.

shortcut for checking mail outside TB!

2001-01-29 Thread Hilary Franklin

Cheerful greetings --

A very simple question for the batty masterminds on this list, I
hope. ;-)

A friend of mine who uses TB mentioned that there was a shortcut
(keyboard, I assume) that allows you to check your e-mail via TB
even if you're working in another program but have it minimized. Of
course, now he can't recall it from memory . . .

Is anyone familiar with this? I'm using the 1.47 Halloween edition
and running Windows 98 (which has been happily well-behaved of
late!), if that's helpful . . .

Many thanks,
Hilary Franklin
