Close TB
Open regedit and go to
HKCU\Software\RIT\The Bat!\Users Depot
Here you'll find your accounts listed with the matching directories.

For the sake of completeness there was a corrupted IMAP account.

It became corrupted when trying to rename it.

Seems a more complicated procedure than for POP accounts

v2.01 crash burn

2003-10-16 Thread DavidBoggon

Oh Dear! I'm on my mail-server's web interface ...

v2.01 has crashed out on me.

I get the splash screen up for 1 second, it disappears, and no
bat!!

I have v2.00 v2.00.06 exe's still on my system and trying to
run them produces the same result.

v2.01 was working fine for about 18hrs, and I haven't made any
config changes to make this happen, just refining my IMAP
account ...

Help Gratefully Received!!

anxiously yours,
David Boggon

Hello Roelof,

RO Try to disable the corrupted IMAP account in the registry.

I don't know how to do that, but I managed to sort it out by juggling
backups that I had made regularly while reconfiguring, restaring TB
firstly with the data folder removed.

When I renamed my IMAP account it seems the account mail store wasn't
renamed properly, which caused it to get confused.

Incidently, how does one disable an account from the registry?

The problem is in my data folder.
Moving it allows TB to open.

I assume there is a corrupted account or config file, but how do
I go about identifying it?

eek! this web interface is really very disturbing. Glad to be
switching to fastmail soon
