I ran very short of time and so wasn't able to capture any detailed information, but I can confirm that my test system crashes when some of the 'special' keys are pressed (though many of them don't cause a crash). I can't tell whether pulling the power cable causes a crash; the system went totally dead when I did this (perhaps they've removed the battery for some reason). More info when I can get it.
