F14 update breaks mount.cifs -- False Alarm
I rebooted the Windows 7 system and now mount.cifs is happy. I don't know what sort of funk my Windows 7 machine was in. It seemed to operate normally. Another Win7 machine could log into its shares. And the Linux error messages about memory issues and the host being down were useless if not downright inaccurate. -- Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX N2469R c...@omen.com www.omen.com Developer of Industrial ZMODEM(Tm) for Embedded Applications Omen Technology Inc "The High Reliability Software" 10255 NW Old Cornelius Pass Portland OR 97231 503-614-0430 -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

Usually, it is a good idea to have a subject so people on the list can know what you are inquiring about without having to look at the body of the email. You can see archives for the list at http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/users/ Browsing them can give you an idea of typical etiquette. And if you have questions, your answer might be there already. Happy computing. -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
