After most recent F16 updates: wired network connection down after some period of inactivity
Hi, after having updated my F16 on friday evening, having the problem with my box (no laptop, but a desktop machine, wired network) that after having locked the GNOME screen with ctrl+alt+l and beeing inactive for some time, the wired network connection is down. Trying to restart NetworkManger is not helpful. Getting rid of this only by rebooting. Somebody sees this too? It seems that one of updated packages is the culprit: Sep 30 18:56:07 Updated: glib2-2.30.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:08 Updated: pango-1.29.4-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:09 Updated: atk-2.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:11 Updated: gtk3-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:13 Updated: GConf2-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:14 Updated: libgnome-keyring-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:17 Updated: gnome-icon-theme-3.2.0-1.fc16.noarch Sep 30 18:56:17 Updated: clutter-gtk-1.0.4-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:18 Updated: 1:control-center-filesystem-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:20 Updated: gnome-keyring-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:21 Updated: libgnomekbd-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:22 Updated: evince-libs-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:23 Updated: gjs-1.30.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:23 Updated: dconf-0.10.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:24 Updated: glibmm24-2.30.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:26 Updated: gnome-menus-3.2.0.1-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:26 Updated: pangomm-2.28.3-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:28 Updated: gnome-session-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:29 Updated: gnome-keyring-pam-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:29 Updated: vte3-0.30.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:31 Updated: zenity-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:32 Updated: libwnck3-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:33 Updated: at-spi2-core-2.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:33 Updated: pyatspi-2.2.0-1.fc16.noarch Sep 30 18:56:37 Updated: glib2-devel-2.30.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:38 Updated: caribou-0.4.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:39 Updated: at-spi2-atk-2.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:41 Updated: mutter-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:41 Updated: gnome-session-xsession-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:42 Updated: gtkmm30-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:44 Updated: evince-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:47 Updated: gnome-icon-theme-legacy-3.2.0-1.fc16.noarch Sep 30 18:56:49 Updated: gnome-icon-theme-symbolic-3.2.0-1.fc16.noarch Sep 30 18:56:49 Updated: gnome-panel-libs-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:50 Updated: 1:gnome-utils-libs-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:51 Updated: brasero-libs-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:52 Updated: adwaita-gtk3-theme-3.2.0.2-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:53 Updated: glib-networking-2.30.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:54 Updated: libsoup-2.36.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:55 Updated: gvfs-1.10.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:56:59 Updated: webkitgtk3-1.6.1-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:00 Updated: gnome-online-accounts-3.2.0.1-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:01 Updated: 1:folks-0.6.3.2-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:01 Updated: seed-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:02 Updated: libpeas-1.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:04 Updated: 1:gnome-games-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:05 Updated: libchamplain-0.12.0-2.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:05 Updated: libchamplain-gtk-0.12.0-2.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:05 Updated: gvfs-afc-1.10.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:08 Updated: libgweather-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:09 Updated: pygobject3-3.0.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:10 Updated: yelp-xsl-3.2.0-1.fc16.noarch Sep 30 18:57:11 Updated: adwaita-gtk2-theme-3.2.0.2-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:15 Updated: gnome-user-docs-3.2.0.1-1.fc16.noarch Sep 30 18:57:16 Updated: 1:yelp-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:17 Updated: 1:yelp-libs-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:18 Updated: adwaita-cursor-theme-3.2.0.2-1.fc16.noarch Sep 30 18:57:19 Updated: glib2-2.30.0-1.fc16.i686 Sep 30 18:57:21 Updated: gnome-themes-standard-3.2.0.2-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:24 Updated: gnome-desktop3-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:25 Updated: 1:cheese-libs-3.2.0-2.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:26 Updated: nautilus-extensions-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:29 Updated: nautilus-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:31 Updated: gnome-settings-daemon-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:33 Updated: 1:gdm-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:37 Updated: 1:control-center-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:38 Updated: file-roller-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:40 Updated: gnome-shell-3.2.0-2.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:42 Updated: gnome-panel-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:43 Updated: file-roller-nautilus-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:46 Updated: orca-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:47 Updated: 1:gdm-plugin-fingerprint-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:49 Updated: gnome-power-manager-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:49 Updated: evince-nautilus-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:53 Updated: empathy-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:54 Updated: 1:cheese-3.2.0-2.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:54 Updated: gnome-screensaver-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:57 Updated: eog-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64 Sep 30 18:57:57 Updated:
