X.Org 1.12-compatible VBoxGuestAdditions_4.1.9-76737.iso available (works with F17 and Rawhide)
See https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/10293#comment:16 . The guest additions build for me (using VirtualBox 4.1.8) in F17 and Rawhide with X.Org 1.12 support (and no need for setting $MAKE to avoid the OpenGL error), so by using hardware passthrough Gnome Shell is much faster. The next release (probably 4.1.9) should include X.Org 1.12 support. -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

Re: F17-TC1.Desktop.iso and Anaconda
Greetings: I decided to download and try out the FC17/ Beta-TC1 Desktop.iso... I have a major crash still, and I could not save the bug crash report as it would not see my usb drive, so I must apologize for this... I got as far as Edit or Modify the partition layout. I clicked on homes folder and edited it. I chose btrfs, and then clicked ok. This is where I get the crash and have to reboot... Can anyone help me or is this a bug already known and being worked upon? Known, that's https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=787341 . anaconda will blow up any time it sees an existing btrfs partition or you try to create a new one. Thank you for locating the bug report for me! I appreciate it very much... It blocks final, but it would be nice if it could get fixed sooner... I would like to see it have been given more priority considering it is a major crash bug! I would have liked to have seen an official e-mail about the issue and what it does??? -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Twitter: AdamW_Fedora | identi.ca: adamwfedora http://www.happyassassin.net -- Sincerely yours, Rob G. Alert from turning off/on wireless
On my (very old) laptop, I turned off the wireless (via the hardware switch) then turned it back on, generating an alert. This action should be allowed by the default policy. I would have liked to have seen an official e-mail about the issue and what it does??? Common bugs are noted on the common bugs wiki pages, not via email notifications. Email isn't a great way to provide information about common bugs as its so invisible once it's more than a week or so old. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Common_F17_bugs#btrfs-explodey -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Twitter: AdamW_Fedora | identi.ca: adamwfedora http://www.happyassassin.net -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
