[Test-Announce] Fedora 19 Final Release Candidate 1 (RC1) Available Now!
As per the Fedora 19 schedule [1], Fedora 19 Final Release Candidate 1 (RC1) is now available for testing. Content information, including changes, can be found at https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/5623#comment:18 . Please see the following pages for download links (including delta ISOs) and testing instructions. Normally dl.fedoraproject.org should provide the fastest download, but download-ib01.fedoraproject.org is available as a mirror (with an approximately 1 hour lag) in case of trouble. To use it, just replace dl with download-ib01 in the download URL. Installation: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Current_Installation_Test Base: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Current_Base_Test Desktop: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Current_Desktop_Test Ideally, all Alpha, Beta, and Final priority test cases for Installation [2], Base [3], and Desktop [4] should pass in order to meet the Final Release Criteria [5]. Help is available on #fedora-qa on irc.freenode.net [6], or on the test list [7]. [Test-Announce] F19 RC1 cloud images available in EC2 and for download
Fedora 19 Release Candidate 1 cloud images are now available from: http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/19-RC1/Images/ in either qcow2 or raw.xz format. You should be able to use Glance in OpenStack to just import the qcow2 images directly and go. They're also in Amazon EC2 in the US East region (us-east-1): ami-79196a10 for x86_64 ami-ef1b6886 for i386 Thanks to Dennis Gilmore in Fedora Release Engineering for the extra work to make this happen. The images are configured with fedora as the default user with passwordless sudo. You can change this behavior by passing different configuration data via the user-data in either OpenStack or EC2. For example, to allow direct root login and to suppress the creation of the 'fedora' user, use #cloud-config users: disable_root: 0 (The first line is identifying the userdata type, not a comment.) -- Matthew Miller ☁☁☁ Fedora Cloud Architect ☁☁☁ mat...@fedoraproject.org ___ test-announce mailing list test-annou...@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test-announce -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

No mail received from redhat (fedora)
Omen.com is running Fedora 19 installed June 17 with kernel updated June 20. Yum update has not shown any updates over the last few days. No mail has been received from redhat for a while. Anyone here compiling the kernel on F19? F19 Final status
Just a quick status report. RC2 is currently being spun to address three minor blockers (yes, there are such things): https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=977764 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=977715 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=977964 the changes in RC2 are pretty small - one anaconda change limited to the text interface, one font package added to the desktop live, and fedora-release-notes is bumped - so almost all RC1 testing will be valid against RC2. Please keep testing RC1 for now, and we'll transfer the results over to RC2 once it lands. If we get through all the tests before Thursday we can go back and verify RC1 results on RC2, but it seems very unlikely there'll be any regressions except possibly in the text fix somehow. -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Twitter: AdamW_Fedora | identi.ca: adamwfedora http://www.happyassassin.net -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
[Test-Announce] Fedora 19 Final Release Candidate 2 (RC2) Available Now!
NOTE: The 32- and 64-bit Security Lab Spins are over their size limit of 700 MiB. As per the Fedora 19 schedule [1], Fedora 19 Final Release Candidate 2 (RC2) is now available for testing. Content information, including changes, can be found at https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/5623#comment:21 . That's a useful thing to do, yes, but it's usually best to report problems you find to Bugzilla. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/Join , Reporting bugs in Fedora releases. There are other suggestions of ways you can help on that page. You can test new things and report the results when in test days. If you have bugs, you can report them to bugzilla. 欢迎。 -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
