RC3 netinst
Tried 64 bit RC3 netinst on an 8 GB e6550 machine. After formatting the HD Anaconda barfed on a conflict of hd and texlive. On an Asus p8z77-vlePlus UEFI boot Anaconda was unable to allocate disk space, same as RC1 and RC2. Booting without UEFI Anaconda was able to allocate disk space but exhausted its list of download mirrors. One might want to wait for RC4 or later. -- Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX c...@omen.com www.omen.com Developer of Industrial ZMODEM(Tm) for Embedded Applications Omen Technology Inc The High Reliability Software 10255 NW Old Cornelius Pass Portland OR 97231 503-614-0430 -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

Join us on irc.freenode.net in #fedora-meeting-2 for this important meeting, wherein we shall determine the readiness of the Fedora 20 Alpha. This is the second attempt to release Fedora 20 Alpha. For more details about this meeting see: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Go_No_Go_Meeting In the meantime, keep an eye on the Fedora 20 Alpha Blocker list: http://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/milestone/20/alpha/buglist Jaroslav ___ test-announce mailing list test-annou...@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test-announce -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
Want to help and provide information and test results
Hello, I want to help with testing and even more QA. I have an AMD quad core machine, Windows 7 and VirtualBox with some machines on it. There is one thing I already wrote into bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1008945 It is about language support in actual test candidates: Fedora-Live-Desktop-x86_64-20-Alpha-2 Fedora-Live-Desktop-x86_64-20-Alpha-3 I could reproduce the bug a second time in Alpha-2 today. There is no change after reboot or fetching updates and then reboot. 1. How shall I proceed in this topic? 2. If there is someone from Germany who would introduce me to the QA or testing process, I am open to that. mouse cursor sometimes disappears on login
I'm curious, have someone else seen this bug? https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1008965 mouse cursor sometimes disappears on login I see it mainly in VMs, but on bare metal (in F19) sometimes as well. It happened to me with F20 Alpha RC3, and quite interestingly, for that particular VM I reproduced it in several reboots in a row. Then I wanted to record a video and it started working - heisenbug! :) If this is common enough, we might consider having it as a blocker. -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

Yes I've had this too on F19 and F20, Not very frequent and I had attributed to my ATI (old) free drivers. It's really not frequent enough for me to raise it as an issue. So far only once in F20 out of probably 20+ fresh starts. Fred -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
