Addressing crossposting: no one lets the user know how others feel about it - until someone does it - nor that there is a rule about it; if we don't want a user to crosspost - especially a newby - we should make it blatantly obvious that we don't like it, much less for a long-term user; it's impossible to make something as obvious. Some people read rules as a last resort, especially long-time users who least expect a rule-change and are unsuspecting of such. antlr-javadoc upgrade is broken in F20
Hi, I have just executed yum upgrade and it failed with: Running transaction test Transaction check error: file /usr/share/javadoc/antlr from install of antlr-javadoc-0:2.7.7-29.fc20.noarch conflicts with file from package antlr-javadoc-0:2.7.7-28.fc20.noarch Error Summary - Upgrading a package wouldn't remove the older one if it's noarch? How else would you explain this phenomenon? yum --skip-broken upgrade also fails with the same since all dependencies are satisfied.
